Imperfect Samples (any), Keyscape, Spitfire Vertical or North 7, and 8Dio's upright/legacy steinway/ and Clave EP options. I need some real "Character" - something I could use in a film, a jazz album, or I want to pretend I have some amazing peice of history. MAYBE Addictive Keys, but Pianoteq or TruePianos are the best choices. My computer sucks, but it still needs to sound amazing when I play live - Pianoteq5. I suck at Piano, no kontakt, and I want ideas and some help - but it needs to sound good still: EZ Keys or Addictive Keys. I do Pop/RnB music or something where mix is important, and don't have kontakt: Ravenscroft 275 - VI Labs I've tried all those and highly reccomend them all. I have Kontakt, and I want a studio style grand piano: Soniccoture Hammersmith, any 8dio piano option, Native Instruments (Alicia's Keys, The Giant, etc all are great), Piano in Blue. No Budget and I want topshelf with lots of variety - either Keyscape or East West Quantum Leap Pianos. There are coupons and some sound cards come with it. Sounds great, you don't need Kontakt, and it's versatile. Christian Teuscher is playing the recently released. In this video Dave Rich talks about TruePianos and demonstrates how it's different from conventional piano libraries out there. Watch video tutorials as well as demonstrations from the users' point of view. It's not horrible, but I just can't see myself using it unless if it was all I had for the moment.īudget choice: XLN Audio Addictive Keys. Please feel free to try out the TruePianos audio and video demonstrations on this page. I personally don't really enjoy the Ableton Piano because it's SOOOO bright. The one downside is you don't get to test the playability with your controller on many of the choices I name but some music stores have them setup to demo. If you have kontakt, that list goes insane on amazing pianos, the prices are good, and I'd go on youtube or listen to demos on websites. The key noise for everything is sick, and the character and sampling quality is top shelf. If you have money, and you want vintage keys and an amazing Yamaha C7 Grand - Keyscape by Spectrasonics is quite amazing. Many libraries do have key noise and pedal sounds. I have tried a lot of piano libraries, and I also have many Kontakt libraries.
